He ventured into fashion after learning a bit of sewing from his mother and teaching himself he formed a love for creating special garments. Philip's journey lead him to New York, where he studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and acquired extensive knowledge about the design and making process.
Philip is specialized in knitwear and has a love for experimentation and developing unique textiles. He has learned many industrial knitting techniques and studied in Nottingham, England, a city rich with frame knitting and lace making history dating back to the 16th century.
Philip Tum Suden’s design aesthetic is a constant evolution of craftsmanship, classicism, ease, restraint, and harmonious contrast. His desire is to create garments that have no expiration and highlight the human figure. Philip Tum Suden has no interesting in creating fashion, but rather clothing of incredible quality that will last!
